The Pro Makeup Intensive: Artistry Meets Business A private 1:1 mentorship for the artist ready to go pro This isn't a makeup tutorial — it's a complete blueprint for building a sustainable career as a professional artist. Over this personalized session, you'll work directly with a working industry professional to master both the craft and the business behind it. On the artistry side, you'll refine your technique through hands-on instruction in color theory, skin prep, foundation matching across skin tones, contouring and highlighting for camera vs. in-person work, and building a versatile kit for bridal, editorial, and event clients. On the business side, you'll learn what most artists never get taught: how to legally set up your business, price your services with confidence, write contracts and booking policies that protect you, build a portfolio that books clients, and market yourself across social platforms without burning out. You'll leave with a personalized action plan, take-home materials, and a certificate of completion — plus the clarity and confidence to start booking real work. Cancellation Policy
Payment: Full payment is due upfront to confirm your booking. Your date isn't secured until payment is received in full. Cancellations: Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the event receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the event forfeit 20% of the total booking cost; the remaining 80% is refunded. Travel: Complimentary within the greater New Orleans area. Outside that, travel is quoted based on distance — never a surprise on-site. Rescheduling: Requires at least 1 days' notice. Changes made inside that window may be subject to a rescheduling fee. Day-of changes: Additions (extra artists, extra time) are accommodated when possible but are not guaranteed and are billed at the standard fee.
